ENGINEERING DESIGN AND BUILDING MANAGEMENT

Engineering teams work to BS EN ISO 9001 standards and will produce an information pack, meeting the design criteria of both architects and consulting engineers.

CAD production of engineering drawings means that information is presented consistently. We also write our own turnkey software to program hardware from several major suppliers, in line with individual specifications.

MOTOR CONTROL CENTRE MANUFACTURE

Motor Control Centres (MCC) to Form 2, 3 and 4 are manufactured using branded components. MCCs are assembled and wired within the enclosures to pre-approved designs. Fault rated busbar systems, are assembled to an ASTA Certified System, using high conductivity copper, and are matched to withstand the calculated pressure at each MCC.

Each MCC is thoroughly tested, with each circuit connected to a simulation test rig to check compatibility with control software programs and temperature control devices. Prior to despatch from the workshop, a 2,000-volt flash test and 500-volt insulation test is carried out to ensure that the MCC complies with Electrical Safety regulations.
