Working to reduce the energy consumption at Heathrow Airport, Terminal 3, BMSI is currently overseeing the upgrade of various legacy BMS systems to Trend BMS controls. As a result of the essential and innovative work being carried out, three members of the BMSI team have been recognised by MACE for their outstanding work on this project.

Presented by Gideon Nelstrop, Senior Project Manager at MACE MEP Construction, the recipient of these customer service awards was Scott Rackham who received the MACE Health & Safety Award on January 22. Gerry Howells [pictured below] who was awarded the MACE Health & Safety Award on February 22.

And Matthew Smith [below] who received the MACE Quality Award on February 22.

Upgrading the current BMS systems at Terminal 3, which includes Johnson Metasys, Honeywell XBS, Honeywell EBI and Cylon, to Trend BMS controls, BMSI is ensuring a reduction in electrical energy for the airport, saving Heathrow considerable sums of money, improving their carbon footprint and creating a better working environment for staff.
