MediCentre – why BMSI’s remote technical centre is best in class

MediCentre, BMSI’s remote technical centre, enables us to offer a superior, tailored package that’s proven to meet client needs.

By providing a full lifecycle service that creates a holistic view of our customers’ energy efficiency, we’re able to focus on the acquisition, analysis and presentation of energy and BEMS control data from a wide variety of sources, using our unique and innovative in-house software platform, MEDIC.

“The beauty of the Medic dashboard is that it features a customisable interactive display for viewing metering, energy, weather, wellbeing and BEMS information, all on one place. Online access to MEDIC means that you don’t need to download, store and manage PC-based software, or have a dedicated PC. This enables our customers to have 360 visibility and real-time analysis of their data like never before, helping businesses to lower their operational costs and be mindful of creating a sustainable business model for the future.”

Steve Culshaw, MediCentre Manager

MEDIC can be used to manage and analyse data, build and schedule reports and configure notifications. It’s a flexible, scalable solution, suitable for multi-site, multi-utility, corporate customers as well as standalone, single-site installations. Support Business Development team celebrate training success with Junkyard golf fun

BMSI’s Support Business Development team enjoy a successful training day at the BMSI MediCentre, Daresbury, followed by a competitive game of junkyard golf!

National Support Sales Manager, Jen Johnson, who coordinated the training event, was delighted with the outcome:

“The technical training we held at Daresbury was a superb opportunity for us to run through the fundamentals of energy management and building analytics with the team and why it is so important that we can support our customers in these areas.

Most importantly, we discussed how our MediBox and Medic solution can provide real-time monitoring and analysis, reducing ongoing support costs for our customers and highlighting significant energy savings.  What really capped off the day however, was the surprise win by Midlands Development Manager Ben Summers during junkyard golf, with a rather depleted Keith Bankier and Allan Tannock bringing up the rear!”

Taking place at BMSI’s MediCentre in Daresbury, which is the central hub for remote activity and technology at BMSI, the Sales Support team enjoyed a fully-immersive day of training, combining both projects and support elements to further develop their understanding of energy management and building analytics.

Following a fulfilling day of developing their skills and knowledge, the team then enjoyed an evening playing junkyard golf in Manchester city centre, alongside dinner and drinks.
