Within Sales no one day is the same, you could be working with customers on site one day and preparing proposals and estimating projects the next.
Within my role, there is a healthy mix of managing the Sales professionals in my team and working closely with my regional manager to focus on sales strategies and the delivery needs of our project team.
If I was to swap roles, I would welcome the challenge of switching with the Director of Sales!
Within the BMS industry, I believe that our biggest challenge is recruitment, there is a shortfall of BEMS trained people to be able to carry out the many roles we have in our industry.
This skill and resource shortage affects all of us in the industry, and without a doubt, this is one of the biggest professional challenges many of us will have and it falls to us all to look at innovative ways to fill this gap.
I have been working for BMSI for just under a year and I haven’t got a worst part to my job!
I work closely with the End User projects team in general, but overall Steve Wingrove is someone whom I work closely with in this role and is a great source of support.
I think we have a great vision at BMSI and are changing things for the right reasons, with that in mind, whilst we are on this path I am embracing the changes and looking forward to seeing where we can get to as a business.
Being given the opportunity to continue our success and strive to be the best we can be for our customers and our colleagues brings with it a great feeling to be part of this team.
We have a magnificent work ethic and I truly believe that everybody in the team is committed to our vision and I look forward to the journey we have ahead of us.
Engage with as many people at BMSI as you can, we have a great deal to offer but likewise we welcome any new starter and the ideas and energy that they bring.
It is the people that make our business what is today and it is the people that will help in continuing our drive and success tomorrow.
Watching Motorsport at the track & a bit of fishing.
I don’t tend to have a motto, but I really enjoy doing the work I do and this is what gets me through the week.
