Earlier this month, BMSI hosted the first module of our 2022 Management Development Programme (MDP 2022). Participating in the programme were a select number of high-performing employees from across our eight regional locations who were chosen to develop their ideas on the future of BMSI.
Hosted by Denis Poole, a long-time friend and colleague of BMSI, the programme is designed to equip an invited group of hi-potential employees with the fundamental knowledge and skills required to be an effective manager in the modern workplace.
Speaking on the value provided by the programme, BMSI HR Manager, Paul Bredo commented:
“Working in a commercial environment as we do, the challenges that we are often confronted with on a daily basis can be quite daunting. But, with an understanding of how best we can overcome these challenges by learning about ourselves, understanding how we can get others to perform to the best of their abilities and gaining an awareness of the policies and procedures that we adhere to here at BMSI – we believe that the participants of MDP 2022 will benefit significantly from what they will discover over the coming months.”
MDP 2022 will conclude in December when the participants will be expected to present their vision on how they believe the business can be improved to BMSI’s senior management team. Not only is MDP 2022 an investment in the people attending the programme, but an investment in the future of BMSI as a whole.
