Heathrow Airport is one of the most exciting places to work in the UK and BMSI is proud to be a partner with one of the UK’s most successful enterprises, providing support to its BMS systems located across the airport in all but one of its terminal buildings. Whilst the challenges are quite demanding on occasion, the rewards of working in such a dynamic environment are considerable, so if you have ever considered the possibility of working at Heathrow, then this might be your opportunity.
We would be delighted to hear from anyone who lives near the vicinity of Heathrow Airport who has experience of being a Service/Support Engineer in the BMS industry and who would like to further their career with ourselves. Reporting into our friendly Aviation team, the successful candidate would be expected to undertake preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building control systems in the airport’s terminal buildings and in accordance with the service level agreement between ourselves and the customer. There will also be a need to respond to customer service calls in the event of a system failure.
The ideal candidate should have some experience of working within the building controls industry and have proven diagnostic skills, able to systematically identify and resolve technical problems, with a bias towards TREND controls although a good knowledge of Central-line AX would be advantageous. A driving licence and being PC literate are essential pre-requisites, as are having an innovative and flexible approach to how they operate.
