BCIA Awards 2010

BMSi followed up their success at the BCIA Awards in 2009 with another two awards at the BCIA Awards 2010. BMSi were awarded the Energy Management award at the ceremony at the Hilton Hotel, Coventry – the third time BMSi has won the award in its history. Meanwhile, Midlands Regional Manager Doug Robins also received the Lifetime Achievement award.

BMSi have come away as sucessful winners of two awards at this years BCIA Awards held at the Hilton Hotel, Coventry in May 2009. BMSi were awarded "Energy Management Award" for the second year running and have reclaimed "Best Service & Maintenance Provider", which they won in 2007. It is the first time in the awards history, that one company has won both these awards at one time.

BMSi become approved ADAM International Partner

BMSi are pleased to announce that we have become an Approved Partner for ADAM International.

ADAM manufacture a state of the art wireless Building Energy Management System.

Centrica - British Gas Business Acquire BMSi

Centrica plc, through its British Gas Business division, today announced that it has acquired Building Management System Integrators Ltd (BMSi).

The acquisition will launch British Gas Business's entry into the UK's expanding business energy services market which is expected, Centrica believes will grow to £2 billion over the next five years, according to a consensus of market sources.

The existing BMSi management team will remain with the business and are looking forward to an exciting future under their new parent company.

British Gas continues to explore other acquisitions to further build the range, scale and reach of the energy efficiency and low-carbon capabilities it can offer business and domestic customers.

BMSi win 2008 Energy Management Award

BMSi have been awarded the "Energy Management" recognition award at the 2008 BCIA & BSEE awards dinner held at the Hilton Coventry on 15th May 2008. BMSi were recognised for the sterling Energy Services works that they have carried out in partnership with their client Boots plc.

BMSi open new London Office

Due to continued expansion and to assist with existing service levels, BMSi have opened a new London City office in Aldgate High Street.

BMSi Open Northern Regional Office

BMSi are pleased to announce that with our recently opened Regional Office in Chester, we can truly provide National coverage across the UK. Our latest office is in addition to our existing offices in Slough, Hove and Banbury. The Chester office will provide engineering and service support to our existing client base in the North of England and also Scotland. Our team of experienced Trend and Satchwell trained BMS engineers will report to Neil Atkinson, who has recently been appointed as Divisional Director for our Northern business.

BAA award BMSi Terminal 5 BMS Support Contract

BMSi have been successful in securing a multi year support contract with BAA for the Trend BMS at Terminal 5. Although the terminal does not open until March 2008 we will start working at T5 in September this year once the installation is complete.
This will take our complement of engineers on the Heathrow site alone to at least 5 resident engineers and it will be one of the largest single site BMS support contracts let in the UK. In addition to the Heathrow site the contract also includes Stansted Airport where we have a resident engineer on site.
